1, calculate the dehumidification

Dehumidification refers to how much water needs to be liquefied from the air in a certain space to reach the target humidity, generally expressed in "liters/hour", the calculation of dehumidification is generally the water content of the unit air under the ambient humidity minus the water content of the unit air under the target humidity, which needs to be completed with the air entropy table or special calculation software.

The amount of dehumidification should also be adjusted according to the ambient temperature and sealing conditions.

2, determine the dehumidifier power and quantity

After calculating the amount of dehumidification required, we also need to find a balance point between the number of dehumidifiers and the amount of dehumidification of a single machine. If too many dehumidifiers are equipped in a space, it will affect the use of the space and cause inconvenience; If the dehumidifier is too small, the air in the space will appear uneven dry and wet.

For example, in a 10m x 60m warehouse, the required dehumidification capacity is 20 liters/hour. If four dehumidifiers with a dehumidification capacity of 5.75 liters/hour are configured, too much space is occupied, affecting the movement of forklifts in the warehouse.

However, if only one dehumidifier with a dehumidification capacity of 20 liters/hour is installed, because the garage is relatively narrow and long, it will be dry and wet on one side. In this case, it is suitable to choose two dehumidifiers with a dehumidification capacity of 10 liters/hour.

Before determining the number of dehumidifiers, it is necessary to carefully communicate with the user department to fully understand their needs, in addition, it is also necessary to consider the convenience of power supply and drainage. The dehumidifier with a dehumidification capacity of less than 7 liters/hour generally uses 220V power supply. If the dehumidification capacity is greater than 10 liters/hour, 380V power supply is required.
