Analysis and processing: According to the trend of the running parameters of the runner dehumidifier, the current before tripping drops to 55 amps, the first and second stage impeller vibrates, the IGV and the vent valve work together, and the exhaust steam pressure curve fluctuates. At the same time, check the trend of 10KV voltage.

The voltage in this period decreased from 10.22KV to 9.46KV, and the grid voltage was in a low voltage state during this period. It can be judged that when the current drops to 55 amps, it has entered the surge protection zone of the rotary dehumidifier. During this period, the surge phenomenon of the wheel dehumidifier occurred, resulting in the unit protection tripping.

Fault: wheel dehumidifier start-up trip, go to the scene to see the trip record, showing the final stage inlet temperature high alarm, surge alarm. Field inspection of the intake filter and exhaust showed no abnormality. Then, two start-up test runs were carried out, and the surge occurred about 5-10s after the start, and then the alarm was stopped. (About 5s after starting, the display system pressure quickly rises to 4bar, and the opening of the inlet guide vane is 0 points).

Troubleshooting: The inlet guide vane and vent valve of the runner dehumidifier were disassembled and checked and the operation test was carried out. The inlet guide vane blades were not stuck and the operation was normal; Check the action of the exhaust valve plate without falling off or sticking; Check the outer filter plate of the air intake filter with more dust, and the filter plate is relatively clean; The intake filter element was replaced, and the air muffler was inspected on the spot, and abnormal conditions such as spray traces were found in the lower part; Before starting, manually turn the car before starting, and then test. The machine is up and running normally.

Comprehensive analysis and prevention: the shutdown failure factors of surge are mainly dirty intake filter element; Condensation buildup at the exhaust muffler leads to exhaust blockage (on the other hand, consider poor drainage of the interstage cooler or leakage of the cooler itself).
